What Documents Are Required by PCBA?

BOM (Cost of Materials)
BOM is the list of components used for SMT production to create the final product. The BOM shows what
components are required to build the motherboard and how they should be assembled. We accept BOMs that
are in.xls, xlsx, or.csv layouts. BOMs for turnkey orders and orders that are partially complete may
require more information than BOMs for consignment/kitting. Here is the information.
The BOM of a consignment/kitting may include the following information:
1. Quantity of parts for each part number
2. Reference code
3. Component number.
4. Part description.
5. Package.
6. Sort (Surface area Mount, Via Hole or Mixed).
The BOM of a complete or partial turnkey order may include the following details:
1. The amount of each component number.
2. Reference Code
3. Part number
4. Part summary
5. Package.
6. Sort (Surface mount, via opening, or mixed).
7. Supplier name.
8. Manufacturer part number.
9. Representative component number.
10. Gerber documents.
Your boards will require the exact same RS-274X gerber files you used for PCB manufacture. The PCB
assembler will require at least three layers of data, including Silkscreen, Copper Track, and Solder
Paste. Please ensure that all these data are evaluated and included on your end. We will also evaluate
your data prior to the start of setting up in order to make sure that all information for setting up is
complete and accurate.
Other
We highly recommend that you send all other information or data pertaining to your printed circuit board. This could include
assembly illustrations, special setting up instructions, or even pictures or photos of your work. We can
use this information to better understand your needs and correct any unclear or incorrect positioning.
Although it is not usually required by the assembly, we still need them.
